What is Spin-½?

Spin refers to an intrinsic property of elementary particles. In particular, particles with half-integer spin are called fermions. Spin-½ particles include all the particles that make up ordinary matter: electrons, protons, neutrons, quarks, and leptons. In essence, everything that we interact with every day is made of spin-½ particles, fermions.

I use the term to describe the sorts of things that I write about, which typically includes science and technology news, but can also concern media, pop culture, and literature. Essentially, I write about anything that has half-integer spin.
